Ask Mister C
What is your minimum delivery?
This minimum bulk delivery volume for Heating Oil, Gas Oil, or Diesel is 500 litres. It is controlled, and set by the Trading Standards Regulations for the Bulk Meters we use.
How do I know how much oil was delivered?
All our oil deliveries are made through the meter on the lorry. All meters are set, sealed, and checked by Trading Standards. The delivery ticket will have recorded on it the appropriate meter readings.
Should I use broker websites or buying groups?
With the rise of the Internet we have seen a significant increase in the number of groups, syndicates, brokers, and websites claiming to get you cheaper fuel supplies, or bulk savings through aggregated orders.
We would be very careful about using buying groups or broker websites as they are, for the most part middle men, seeking to make themselves money by placing themselves between you and the real distributor whose tanker will end up delivering.
A real fuel distributor will have fuel tankers, a depot, oil to sell, and people to talk to about any issues you may have. They will also value your business direct with them higher than a broker chasing commission.
When the snow falls, or supplies are tight, we focus on serving our customers not other peoples'. If you deal with CPS Fuels direct we save you money, rather than putting pounds of commission into the pockets of middlemen.
Very quick delivery when we had run out…

Fake News: No oil boilers by 2030
Claims that oil heating will be banned by 2030 are ‘false’ and rural oil users should ‘ignore misleading claims’ from renewable heating suppliers. There are no plans to ban the use of existing high carbon fossil fuel heating systems
