Burnbright 35 (Industrial Heating Oil)

Heating commercial buildings, running grain dryers and or equipment can be expensive. Burnbright 35, is a drop in replacement for gas oil specially refined for CPS Fuels as a cost-saving alternative to conventional gas oil and red diesel.

A fossil-free diesel product made of 100% renewable raw materials, which does not release any new carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

HVO - drop in and go

HVO can be used in diesel engines and machinery without modification.

HVO meets EN 15940 standards and the Fuel Quality Directive 2009/30/EC Annex II.

HVO is approved for heavy-duty road and off-road vehicles such as Scania, Volvo, Mercedes Benz, MAN, DAF, Renault, John Deere, Caterpillar, Steyr and Iveco.

With HVO there is no need to modify existing storage, running tanks or associated infrastructure.

HVO does not release any new carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

Products in Barrels

A 205 litre barrel of Diesel, Gas Oil or Kerosene is a sensible solution for locations which do not have bulk storage, where access for a delivery tanker is restricted, or where usage or security issues do not allow the location of a larger bulk tank.

HVO as Heating Oil (Trial)

HVO is currently being trialled as a heating oil alternative by UKIFDA & OFTEC under the Future Ready Fuels project.

The principle purpose of the trial is to see if HVO could replace Kerosene and so offer domestic heating oil users a sustainable liquid fuel alternative to burn in domestic boilers.

Results of Phase 1

Trials - what we've learnt so far:

HVO heating oil is the premium fossil-free alternative to kerosene which is made up of 100% renewable raw materials.

Cleaner and greener – reduces net carbon emissions by almost 90% compared to fossil heating oil.

Simple conversion for most oil appliances.

Low cost to convert – cost to convert is expected to be around £500.

Fossil free – certified sustainable waste materials.

You won’t notice the difference – runs as efficiently as heating oil and it’s odourless.
